Cook and Phillip Park Playground Community Engagement and Market Research
City of Sydney
We are delivering place-based workshops to help scope the vision, themes and unique opportunities for a new city play space. The workshops will explore current experiences and potential for new experiences offered by a play space at Cook and Phillip Park, and help to scope the vision, themes and unique opportunities for the project.
Involving children, families and educators in the design of the park can create a vibrant, unique and inclusive space that speaks to the diversity and energy of the City’s community. School students, educators and cultural institutions, city staff and families will participate in the place based workshops. The consultation tool can also be facilitated by teachers or self-completed by small groups on their own.
We will also review and synthesise qualitative and quantitative data including visitor data and relevant data from previous consultation to understand how the park is used and opportunities for a new play space.
