Cultural & Activation Strategy

Cumberland Council

Cred is working with Cumberland Council to better understand and plan for this diverse community's vibrant cultural life. The Strategy will promote access to arts and culture, and contribute towards making Cumberland an even greater place to live, work and visit.

Cumberland has a lot to offer - from the Sydney Cherry Blossom Festival at Auburn Botanic Gardens, to a simulated refugee camp and an annual sculpture walk in a cemetery - this is a Council and a community wishing to push the boundaries of culture, arts and activation to create unique experiences not found anywhere else in Sydney.

We are delivering a Strategy that will inform Council's planning of programs, services, operations and infrastructure in arts and culture, as well as place based town centre focused initiatives such as place activation and business engagement.
